For our next major project – the performance of Bach’s St Matthew Passion on March 28 and 29, 2026, in Berlin – we invite dedicated singers of all voice parts to join us for this special concert
Probenzeiten
Wir starten mit den Proben am 25. November 2025 und wir würden uns freuen, wenn Du so früh wie möglich einsteigen könntest, spätestens ab Januar wäre es toll, wenn Du Dir Dienstag Abend für einen regelmäßigen Probenbesuch von 19h15-21h15 in Berlin-Kreuzberg einrichten kannst.
Zu folgenden Proben solltest Du auf jeden Fall Zeit haben:
- Probenwochenende 21. – 22. Februar 2026, Probenort wird noch bekannt gegeben
- Generalprobe am 27.03.2026
Konzerttermine
- Samstag 28.03.2026
- Sonntag 29.03.2026
Alle Probenzeiten und -orte werden spätestens zu Projektbeginn bekanntgegeben.

Although our rehearsals are conducted in German, we warmly welcome international singers to join us. This project offers a wonderful opportunity to bring together voices from diverse backgrounds, united by a shared passion for Bach and one of the greatest works ever written.

Rehearsal schedule
We will begin rehearsals on November 25, 2025, and we would be delighted if you could join as early as possible.
From January onwards, you should be able to attend our regular Tuesday evening rehearsals from 7:15–9:15 p.m. in Berlin-Kreuzberg.
There are a few key dates you should definitely be available for:
- Rehearsal Weekend Februar 21-22, 2026 (venue to be announced)
- General Rehearsal March 27, 2026
Concert dates
Saturday, March 28, 2026
Sunday, March 29, 2026
All rehearsal times and venues will be confirmed at the start of the project.

We’re always excited to welcome new singers!
Ideally, you’ll have some choral experience, feel comfortable sight-reading, and enjoy singing classical repertoire.
What matters most to us is that we fit together both musically and personally. That’s why we invite interested singers to join a few rehearsals so we can get to know each other. The decision to join the choir is then made together as a group.
We rehearse every Tuesday evening in Berlin-Kreuzberg. Before concerts, there may be a few extra rehearsals for final preparations.
